Wonderful water crown photography : amazingly innovative and creative

It is well said that passion and creativity leads to innovation. A tremendous example of this truth has been set by a photography experiment of two boys of Bhopal, India. Priyanshu Bhargava who is currently a student of mechanical engineering at Jaypee, Guna (JIET) and Prayas Rokde who is a student of the National Institute of Design Ahmadabad, have clicked some of the most amazing and technically sound pics unveiling the secret of water droplets falling on water surface. Both have used their photography skills to present the wonderful science behind the collision of a falling water droplet with standing water surface. The most important thing in their photography is the usage of different elements to artistically and colorfully present this phenomenon.

When a water drop fall on a standing water surface it makes an elastic collision with it and due to the surface tension on the surface of water a beautiful and interesting water crown is formed and the water drop bounces back from middle of this crown to a little height. This experimental photography of the two boys resulted in capturing of some of the most illustrious water crown photos ever. They experimented different shutter speeds, apertures and light effects (with translucent color sheets) to finally have some of the best photography illustrations clicked ever. The most noticeable thing in this experiment was that, they didn't had any special gears and equipment for this amazing photography. A Canon eos 1000d camera having 1855mm kit lens was combined with the innovative use of resources and excellent photography skills of the duo to get wonderful photographs.

Following are the snaps clicked by the duo under their water crown
photography experiment labelled under the 'PB Photography' property :

So, for those who think that nothing can be done without proper gears, then here is a lesson for you, "It's not 'all' about gears and gadgets, it's all about passion and creativity."
